Here are some credit card terms you should know

Zero balance

When a credit cardholder pays off any outstanding balance, their bill will read zero balance. A card user can have a zero balance by paying off the amount due in full or by not using the credit card. Paid off balances keep the cardholder's overall debt low. Lenders like credit card users who do not use up all their available credit because they can raise the credit rating to maximize their profits.

Annual fees

This is a yearly fee charged by credit card issuers to cardholders for using their credit cards. This fee is added to the customer's invoice statement. Not all cards have annual fees. Reward and travel credit cards, cards for those with bad credit, or those with luxury perks are prime examples. You can pick cards that have no annual fees charged.
